3 things better to avoid when wanting to raise happy, healthy & successful children

by Julia Noyel

Have you ever asked yourself the question: How to raise your child correctly? After many years of research and teaching children, I have long wondered how to raise a child properly to help them to be happy, healthy and successful in life. Can we also speak of a ‘true or false’ when we talk about the education of children?

I believe that if we want to raise happy, healthy, successful children with self-confidence, and if we want to be a better parent, we must reflect on the question, “How do I raise my child properly?” and take some precautions to help your child acquire certain essential skills and help him build a balanced personality.

Avoid making these 3 things if you want to raise happy, healthy, successful children.

If you are a parent and have ever wondered if you were doing everything right, how best to raise your children, or how best to help your children grow into happy, healthy and successful adults in life, it is time to look at this point a little more in detail. Make sure you don’t make any of the following things to help your children be happy, healthy and successful later in life. Here are the 3 out of 6 errors that I could observe:

n°1 – being unclear about the parent’s role

Many decide to have children for love. Once the baby is in our life, love is important, but to help our child become happy, healthy and successful later in life, it is beneficial to know our precise role as a parent. I think that as a parent you play a very important role in the development of your child. Your child needs to prepare for life and to learn essential skills.

The following exploration question may help you:
What kind of life do I want for my child in the future?

Once you have an answer to this question you have the opportunity to teach yourself the skills you need to raise happy, healthy and successful children.

n°2 – having no idea what skills a child needs to become a self-confident, happy, healthy & successful individual

Did you know that certain skills are helpful to your child to be confident, happy, healthy and successful in life? The good news is that there are many skills you can teach your child to be confident, happy, healthy, and successful in life.

The following question may help you: what are these skills to lead a happy, healthy and successful life?

Once you know what skills I’m talking about here, you can focus on teaching your child those skills every day through your behavior and parenting style.

n°3 – lacking the competences in parenting

How many years of training did you take to be a confirmed parent? Just think of the number of years dedicated to education and studies, until we become experts in our field, think of the time it takes to invest in building our career. It seems normal to study for years: go to school, do an apprenticeship or go to university.

My question: For your parental role, are you trained or have you thought about training? The good news is that you can easily learn important skills to be a better parent!
